4:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

Guided art tour and return transportation (bus pick-up/drop-up at the Hyatt)

$35 per person (limited registration)

Join us for a two-hour excursion to Vancouver’s world famous Granville Island. You will enjoy a guided tour of selected studios of internationally renowned artists and artisans and an opportunity to explore the local area.  We will visit the following studios:  Studio 13 Fine Art (Alice Rich’s working artist’s studio featuring abstract paintings and mixed media with contemporary and West Coast themes as illustrated above); The Peter Kiss Gallery (wood sculptures, which combine humour with social commentary); Katherine McLean Studio (paintings and ceramics); Darcus Studio/Gallery (landscapes in traditional egg tempera medium); and Dalbergia (wood and fine objects).  This guided tour of five studios is scheduled for 5:00 – 6:15 with the remaining time allocated for you to visit the places of your choice, such as other shops and boutiques, the marina/waterfront or the market.  At the market, you can browse the aisles and sample local and exotic flavours from the very best farmers, bakers, butchers and fishmongers. There are also crafts galore and buskers too! For more information on the market, visit: http://www.granvilleisland.com.
