About Us

The Canadian Association on Gerontology (CAG) is a national, multidisciplinary scientific and educational association established to provide leadership in matters related to the aging population.
A registered Canadian charity, the CAG was founded on October 15, 1971 and is a member of the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics.
Our Vision: To be the Canadian authority on individual and population aging.
Our Mission: The Canadian Association on Gerontology seeks to improve the lives of older Canadians through the creation and dissemination of knowledge in gerontological policy, practice, research and education.
